Production Compliance Coordinator

My client is a world class manufacturing business based in North London / Middlesex. Due to a restructuring of their Production Management Team, they have the newly created role of Production Compliance Coordinator. The successful candidate will support the Site Production Manager by coordinating activities across production areas to ensure they are complying with regulatory requirements for QEHS (Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety) including ISO14001, OHSAS18001, COMAH and REACH. This will mean working closely with staff at all levels across the various production departments from managers and team leaders to operatives and technicians, so means good communication and people skills are essential. As part of this role, you will also be involved in various Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives, so previous experience and/or related methodologies (i.e. Six Sigma) are highly desirable. Your time will be split between being out on the production floor across the plant and in the office to use the company QMS (Quality Management System).

Applications are invited from production team leaders / managers who have worked in high volume, process driven, heavy manufacturing environments (i.e. agro-chemical, beverage, food, chemical, pharmaceutical, refining, or similar). A technical qualification in an engineering or scientific related discipline, (i.e. chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, etc.) is highly desirable, as are the likes of 6 Sigma, Prince 2, etc. This is a challenging role; the successful applicant will be flexible, determined and self-motivated.
