Project Engineer (Process Safety)
We are a world class manufacturer who is currently seeking to recruit a Technical Lead engineer to join the Engineering and safety Team to be based at their busy Manufacturing Plant in north London or North Hertfordshire, there is potential for travel between the sites. We are looking for candidates with excellent engineering skills, with the ability to act as technical lead for process safety. Applications are invited from Process engineers / Process safety engineers / Quality engineers / Technical engineers who have worked in heavy manufacturing and/or high volume, process driven environments (i.e. automotive, chemical, agro-chemical, pharmaceutical, refining, or similar).This role covers a full range of activities, including:
- Ensure that process safety projects are managed correctly (smooth running of projects from inception through to completion).
- Maintain good communication lines with all stakeholders. Regularly updating them of the status of the project, escalating any issues to the Senior Engineer.
- Ensure that projects adhere to best Environment, health and safety practice and procedure.
- Engage with different departments within the business to provide ongoing process safety and promote best practice.
