Controls and Automation Engineer - Siemens or Allen Bradley
We are an extremely well established Bedford based manufacturer proud to be selling our machines to household blue chip names across the globe. Following a period of growth and rebranding, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Controls and Automation Engineer to join our business to work on the successful design and development of new products and to sometimes (4 to 5 times a year) travel both in the UK and Overseas to customer sites to resolve any automation issues regarding commissioning, installation and trouble shooting. We can offer a highly experienced Controls and Automation Engineer a very attractive salary and package dependant on skills and experience as well as the opportunity to work with one of Bedford's most highly respected manufacturers.
We invite applications from Controls and Automation Engineers with the following attributes:
- A background of PLC / HMI control systems incorporating Siemens S7 and/or Rockwell ControlLogix.
- Experience with Servo Drive Applications, Motion Control would be highly desirable.
- Previous working experience of automated machinery
- Strong experience designing electrical control systems for special purpose machinery
- Capable of programming HMIs and adapting screens to suit project needs
- Valid UK passport
- Full driving license
