Production Technician

I am working closely with my client, a world leader in the development and manufacture of construction materials, to recruit a number of Production Technicians to work at their busy manufacturing plant in Flitwick, Bedfordshire.

Due to both a continued increase in demand for their exisiting products and the development of new products, they are investing and expanding their manufacturing capabilities to meet current and forecasted production targets. As a result, we are looking for additional Production Technicians and Operatives for a Double Day Shift as well as a recently created Night Shift.

They are able to offer Production Team Members a very attractive package with a starting base salary of £23,250, rising to £24,000 after 6 month probation (including shift premium of 13%). They also offer in-house training and reward staff with Skills Related Pay, which increases the base salary by £250 for each Skill Exercise. In total, after achieving 5 skills exercises, salary will increase to £25,368. Their benefits are also enviable with an attractive contributory pension scheme, regular overtime, 25 days holiday and an annual bonus. Due to the nature of the materials used on site, it is essential that candidates are able to pay close attention to detail and follow procedures for both quality and H&S reasons.
