Electronics Test Engineering Manager

Due to continued growth a leading electronics manufacturer with significant presence across a range of industries is actively seeking a Test & Development Engineering Manager to lead their in-house Test Team at their busy site in Luton, Bedfordshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the governance, assurance, and delivery of testing across the organisation in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment. The Test Manager will ensure optimised levels of customer service supported by a robust improvement strategy that will focus upon strengthened team development and improved quality and test yields.

Candidates should have experience of working in a test facility (either in-house or an external test house), or have taken electronic products they have designed through a testing procedure. Ideally you will have previously worked in a management, supervisory or team leadership position.

You will contribute towards the development of successful products by aiding the designers and engineers in the development stage through test reports, design input and root cause analysis of issues identified.
