Programme Manager (Commercial Excellence Programme)

Location: Hertfordshire or USA (East Coast)

Salary: To £60K plus exceptional benefits package

We are a world class, leading manufacturer and a significant technical operator with a worldwide presence. We seek a highly experienced Programme Manager with solid commercial ability to develop and deliver a business plan around a recently formed framework focussed on achieving commercial excellence. This is an exciting opportunity where you will not only Project Manage but your will also create the detail of the global commercial project itself. This role will work autonomously to manage various and multiple teams around the world who will be assigned to elements of the overall project. International travel will be required, especially within Europe and to the US. We invite applications from degree educated Project Managers (Scientific or Business Degree) with a background in Sales, Marketing or any other Commercial setting.

Commercial Project Manager - Hertfordshire or USA

• Defines the detail and implements the divisional commercial excellence plan in the areas of sales excellence, marketing excellence, pricing and customer focus.
• Builds and leads teams composed of employees from across the business units in close cooperation with the Steering Committee.
• Challenges current practices and mind-sets.
• Acts as a change agent to drive business improvements within the commercial function.
• Builds excellent relationships throughout the company.
• Prepares detailed month by month project plans.
• Plans work for multiple sub-teams.
• Develops an excellent internal network across Group and all divisions.
• Involves working across all business units and all global locations within the division.
• Multiple work packages will be running concurrently.
• Delivery of +£10m revenue growth in 2-3 years.
