Engineering Applications Manager
We are a well established OEM and our name is very well respected within the food industry. We now require an Engineering Applications Manager who will be responsible for the technical leadership of the company's range of equipment for the production of bread based products. We invite applications from Senior Engineers with previous experience in equipment, plant operation and production processes deployed in the bread making/bakery industry. Previous experience in the design and manufacture of capital equipment, ideally involving the production of baked products would also be desirable. We can consider candidates who have worked either within a competing OEM manufacturing similiar equipment to our own OR candidates who have developed a strong knowledge of the bread making process within a large manufacturer of bread based products. The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills along with vast management experience. Engineering Applications Manager (Capital Equipment - Bread)
- Responsible for engineering specifications and performance of equipment.
- Responsible for ensuring the company produces the best engineering design for the application.
- Ensure adequate analysis is undertaken to optimise the engineering design.
- Reviewing proposals and contracts to assess risks and the fitness for purpose of designs.
- Leading the resolution of technical problems and coordinating the resources to achieve this.
- Supporting the sales function as required.
- Conceiving innovative and incremental development ideas for new machinery and leading development projects.
- Actively seeking regular interaction with customers and other bodies in order to understand customers' requirements, business drivers and trends.
