Technical Services Advisor - Building Materials

We are a leading manufacturer of specialist adhesives supplied to the Construction/ Building industry and we are looking to recruit a Technical Services Advisor to join our team.

You will be providing technical information and advice to contractors, specifiers, stockists and the general public on the use and application of our range of products and systems. The aim of your role will be to minimise the risk of product failure or incorrect application of our products through the provision of sound technical advice and to implement and help manage the customer complaints process.

Key responsibilities

• Full commitment and support to the effective operation of the Technical Hotline.
• Provide efficient response to customer enquiries on the technical performance, fitness for purpose, application of Weber products and services, including information on Health & Safety.
• Direct support to the sales teams by providing relevant information on customers and projects.
• Supporting the management of the Complaints process through CRM and facilitate satisfactory resolution of complaints in a timely manner to meet KPI's.
• Provide technical information for design/site meetings with specifiers, contractors and other clients to facilitate the development and proposal of appropriate Weber Technical solutions.
• Provision of sound technical advice in line with Building Regulations.
• Provide information on the Company Guarantee Scheme to customers, advising on options available and conditions under which they can be given.
• Limit the Company's exposure to "risk" by following Company policy and guidelines.
• Timely and efficient management of project information.
• Utilisation of our CRM system as a means of recording information and communication to the sales team.
• Effective provision of oral, written and electronic communication.
