Mechanical Fitter / Technician

Employed as a Mechanical Fitter within the multi-disciplined and multi-skilled on-site team of Engineers and Technicians at our busy manufacturing plant in Royston, Hertfordshire you will be at the heart of a business renowned for developing the next generation of technologies to meet global challenges. Our Mechanical Technicians enjoy an enviable, industry leading remuneration package of up to £43,000 per annum made up of an attractive base salary, guaranteed shift allowance, bonus, super pension scheme and much more. Overtime will also be available.

We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter Technician with the following attributes:

• Prior experience working within a team within a high volume, process driven manufacturing environment (i.e. chemical, food, agro-chemical, automotive, pharmaceutical, refining, or similar) - ideally with Shift based experience (this role is 12/7 days)
• Excellent fault finding and diagnostics skills with the ability to identify and report reliability issues
• Experience of a wide range of plant equipment including vacuum and steam systems, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, pipework and pressure vessels.
• Ability to support others within the team if required
