Based: St Neots, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £30,000 - £44,000 plus benefits

I am working exclusively with my manufacturing client based in St Neots, who are part of a much larger multi-national organisation, to recruit an experienced Design Engineer to join their in-house team.

Based in the Fluid Power division, this role will be focused on the development of designs and assembly drawings of hydraulic systems which can be manufactured using the company's current and future processes.

You will be interpreting customer engineering drawings and designing solutions to meet specific requirements, creating engineering standards, specifications and relevant technical information for products to be manufactured to.

This role is based at their site in St Neots, Cambridgeshire which is easily accessible from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire because of its proximity to the A1, A421 and A428.

We are seeking someone with a strong engineering and drawing/draughting background. Candidates must be able to interpret engineering drawings and produce your designs using CAD (ideally Creo).

Previous knowledge of Fluid Power / hydraulic / pneumatic systems and components (hoses, couplings, etc) would be very beneficial but not essential.

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (37.5 hours per week)
