Chemical Production Process Improvement Engineer

Based: Norfolk

Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 DOE plus 18% bonus, 18% pension, and other benefits

My client is a world class chemicals manufacturer providing solutions and services to customers around the world across a wide range of sectors. Due to an internal promotion they are currently seeking to recruit a Chemical Production Process Improvement Engineer to join the Technical Department at their busy Chemicals Manufacturing site in Norfolk. As the technical expert you will provide troubleshooting and problem solving services across the various production plants, as well as proposing process improvements. In addition, you will also provide technical input into the design and development of new and existing plant, processes and products. Their Chemical Process Engineers enjoy an attractive salary of up to £40,000 (DOE), and package including bonus, generous pension scheme, 25 days AL, private medical cover and more.

We are looking for a Chemical Process Improvement Engineer with the following attributes:

  • Previously worked in a chemical manufacturing / production environment
  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in chemistry, materials science, or similar subject
  • Experience of industrialisation by upscaling production from pilot plant is desirable
  • Ideally have previous
  • Promotion of the use of LEAN methodologies and resources
  • Ability to build upon relationships with Production Staff (from Operative level through to Management)
