- Description
A leading industrial HVAC systems and solutions company require an Electrical Project Manager with knowledge and experience of building services to join their in-house Engineering Team.
For this newly-created role they are looking for someone who can manage several UK-based projects valued between £50k - £1million.
They work with a wide range of clients including blue chip customers such as Amazon across their portfolio of warehouses.
Their site in Bromsgrove is easily reached by both road (2 minutes from the A38) and public transport (few minutes walk from Bromsgrove train station). They are able to offer hybrid working and the role will involve some UK-wide travel on occasion as required by projects.
This is an exciting time to be joining them as they are continuing to expand their service offerings, developing their own product range, responding to an ever-evolving regulatory environment, and the development of bespoke solutions to meet specific customer needs means that your ideas will turn into a reality.
You will be responsible for delivering their electrically-biased projects on-time and within-budget, managing members of your project team, and maintaining a good working relationship with key stakeholders.
In return they are willing to pay an attractive salary for the right candidate which will be negotiable based on experience, together with a personalised induction and personal development plan, and career progression opportunities within the company in the long-term.
Applications are invited from experienced Electrical and Electrically-biased Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Design Engineers, and with the following attributes:
- Knowledge and experience of building services (ideally ventilation but not essential)
- Strong industrial HVAC knowledge
- Knowledge and experience of WIMES will be advantageous but not essential
- Customer-facing skills and ability to manage client expectations
- Proven track record of successfully completed full lifecycle of projects from concept through to final design and installation
You will need to be self-motivated to solve problems independently as well as the ability work within and lead a technical team, and be comfortable running several projects simultaneously including smaller projects and larger £1million incoming in early 2024.
There will be site visits to customers across the UK when required, likely to be 1-2 per month but will be project-dependent, so a driving licence would be beneficial.
More information available upon application.
