Field Service Engineer / Technician
Home Based, with travel to cover the Home Counties (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Surrey, and Sussex)
Salary: up to £35,000 DOE + Company Car & Benefits
I am working closely with my world class laboratory and medical equipment client to recruit a home-based Field Service Engineer / Technician to join their UK Servicing Team. Covering the Home Counties, the purpose of this role is to safely repair, maintain and service a diverse range of laboratory and life sciences equipment at customer sites including a wide variety of HPLC, UPLC, MS, CTC, Dissolution, automated SPE & in particular GC/GCMS.The majority of this work will involve planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and calibration, with occasional installation, modification and upgrade work.
We are looking for candidates with excellent engineering skills, knowledge and experience of maintaining a wide range of equipment. In particular, you should be very familiar with chromatography and mass spectrometry equipment and software. You will need to be able to identify and diagnose faults, solve problems as you encounter them, and ordering of spares as required.
Due to the travel required a full driving licence is essential.
