We are an award-winning world class innovative manufacturer of industrial laser products and systems with significant international presence across a range of markets. Due to our continued growth we are actively looking to recruit an additional Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our growing in-house "Technology & Innovation" Engineering Team. Within this role you will be responsible for taking a hands-on approach to the electronics design and development of our sub-systems products, from components and assemblies up to full products and systems.

This is an exciting time to join us as we are continuing to experience sustained demand for our products (both current and those we are developing), and as a result, we have recently restructured into three multi-skilled technical development teams - each focusing on a dedicated technical area.

Your time will be divided between developing, refining and improving our existing range of products (from full systems down to sub-assemblies and individual component), and directly contributing towards R&D projects, NPD and NPI of products of the future.

Applicants should have:

• Experience of electronics hardware design and development
• Successful track record of completing full life-cycle of products or projects
• Experience of PCB design and layout
• Knowledge of electronic hardware testing and debugging
• Previous design for EMC compliance and/or CE Marking is desirable

Our modern purpose-built headquarters in East Yorkshire comprise of offices, R&D and clean room manufacturing facilities, and are easily accessible by car and public transport. This role will be predominantly office-based but will involve some domestic and international travel to visit suppliers, customers, academic conferences and trade shows, so a driving licence and passport are desirable.

The level at which you take up this position (Senior Engineer / Engineer) will be determined by your experiences, qualifications and achievements to date. This is also reflected in the wide range of remuneration on offer.
