I am working closely with my Bedfordshire-based client, a leading designer and manufacturer of specialist electro-mechanical equipment serving a range of process-related industries, to find a CAD Engineer with experience of using Solidworks and AutoCAD to join their in-house Engineering Team.

In return they are willing to pay an attractive salary for the right candidate which will be negotiable based on experience, together with a clear career progression pathway within the company in the future.

This is a very varied role with several elements including:

• Building and Modelling 3D renderings for various products and parts
• Creating and Maintaining Mechanical/layout Drawings
• Supporting new product introduction (NPI)
• Conducting Simulation Analysis from a structural and thermal perspective.
• Producing Drawings and Renderings for production and operation manuals and literature
• Assisting with Electrical CAD schematic wiring drawings when required - training can be provided

We invite applications from CAD Engineers as well as Mechanical Designer, Industrial Designers and Product Designers with strong CAD skills (ideally Solidworks and AutoCAD).
