Based: Stevenage, Hertfordshire (with occasional travel to other sites)
I am working closely with my manufacturing client to recruit an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineering Manager to join the on-site Engineering Team at their busy facility in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
As the Continuous Improvement Engineering Manager you will be responsible for leading and driving continuous improvement initiatives across their R&D and manufacturing sites. This will include improving systems and processes already in place; project managing utilising Lean principles; conducting investigations and problem-solving activities; and engaging with staff at all levels with continuous improvement education to create a culture of continuous improvement.
As a key member of the on-site Technical Team you will be the catalyst for change, championing and driving innovation, collaborative working, and sharing of knowledge and best practices across sites.
Applications are invited from experienced Engineering Change Managers, Continuous Improvement Engineers & Managers, as well as Engineering Managers and Process Safety Engineers who have a CI background.
We are particularly keen to engage with candidates who have previously worked within a high-risk manufacturing environment and/or production facility in sectors such as food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, nuclear, chemicals, oil & gas, agro-chemicals, resins, pigments, or similar industries which require significant amounts of documentation.
You will need to be familiar with lean principles of management, a proven track record of delivering continuous improvement projects, and be able to motivate a diverse workforce.
This role is being offered with a very attractive salary and benefits package within a company with an excellent reputation for developing their staff and facilitating clear career progression opportunities.
