Hydraulic Field Service Technician

I am working closely with my manufacturing client, part of a much larger multi-national organisation, to recruit an additional Hydraulic Service Technician who will be field-based an average of 4 days per week, with the rest of the time based at their manufacturing facility near Newport Pagnell & Milton Keynes.

You will be responsible for the installation of hydraulic ring mains, hoses and hydraulic maintenance and servicing at customer sites across the UK. You will also be involved in the repair of hydraulic actuators and grips as required.

In return we are able to offer our Hydraulic Service Technicians a starting salary of £26,000, company van (personal usage is allowed), 40 hour working week, 25 days holiday, pension and benefits. As you will be covering the UK, with the potential for occasional trips abroad, you will need to hold a full driving licence and passport, and be comfortable with a significant amount of travel each day.

Due to the nature of the role, you may be required to stay away from home 2-3 days per week depending on where the work is located (this will be covered by expenses).
