Senior Hardware Engineer - South Cambridge

We now have an opening within our Cambridge offices for a talented and experienced Hardware Engineer. Our Hardware team helps to shape product strategy, turns ideas into products and supports manufacturing of both high and low volume products. As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will contribute to the formulation of product strategy, define detailed requirements for new or enhanced hardware, oversee schematics and PCB layouts and much, much more. We can offer an experienced Hardware Engineer an attractive salary of up to £60,000 plus an annual bonus, some hybrid working and other attractive benefits including private healthcare.
We invite applications from experienced Senior Hardware Engineers with the following attributes:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronic Engineering
- Ideally 8 years' of relevant industry Electronics experience.
- Experience of as many of the following as possible: radio technologies, microprocessors, embedded systems, mains power circuits, communication systems, lighting systems.
- Experience in electronic hardware design, environmental testing, EMC/safety/regulatory approvals and an appreciation of mechanical design.
- Experience of new product introduction, design for volume manufacture, manufacturing support and low-level software are desirable.
- Practical electronics skills.
